Adhomukha  Paschimottanasana – Forward Fold (safe inversion) with a Chair

  • Place the back of a chair at a wall.
  • Have 2 bolsters available. 
  • Sit on edge of the chair and add the 2 bolsters onto thighs.
  • Outstretch both legs and fold forward at the hips. 
  • Rest your forehead and 3rd eye onto the top bolster.
  • This relaxes and calms the mind.
  • Breathe evenly for 5-10 soft breaths cycles.
  • Lift your torso slowly out of the pose.
  • Sit upright and feel the effects of the pose.
  • Relax.
