Connect to Your Inner Core  

This workshop is designed to help you release any stored pain, anxiety, stress, or tension you may be experiencing so that your vital energy – prana – can move freely through your whole entire body. When our vital energy is flowing freely (not obstructed), we experience positive emotions, revitalized energy, mental clarity, lightness, pain relief, and a sense of overall well-being. 

We will also practice asanas and pranayama techniques that will boost your immune system. 

Plan to Attend the Workshop?
Some yoga experience recommended. Attend all four sessions for an overall immersion experience that is designed to energize the body and soothe the nervous system, or attend any of the singular sessions. 

  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Some yoga props available
  • Arrive 15 minutes early, if possible
  • Register before each session
  • Set yoga mats up in a circle

 

Sessions

 

  • Session 1: Connect with Your Lower Core
    Benefits: - Release tight hips and lower back - Develop lower core strength and flexibility in your legs, hips and lower back - Develop power and strength in your core abdominal and torso muscles - Learn to breathe deeply at your diaphragm Pranayama, Yoga Asanas and Restoratives: Emphasis on standing poses, standing twists, spirals and side bends Transformational Work: Enhance positive energy flow with asanas and partner work

  • Session 2: Connect with Your Upper Core
    Benefits - Release tight shoulders - Improve freedom of movement in your neck and shoulders - Develop upper core strength and flexibility in your shoulders and upper back - Sculpt and tone your arms - Relieve tension in your head and neck to calm your nervous system - Improve fascial elasticity to increase overall ease of movement Pranayama, Yoga Asanas and Restoratives: Emphasis on standing poses, seated twists, spirals and side bends Transformational Work: Enhance positive energy flow with asanas and partner work

  • Session 3: Cultivate Strength and Balance
    Benefits - Make the legs more shapely and sturd - Create stability in your feet and legs - Help contract and tone the abdominal muscles - Tone the lower region of the spine and the nerves connected with the leg muscles - Strengthen the knees - Bring strength, calm and clarity of mind - Ensure proper blood supply to the brain and glands Pranayama, Yoga Asanas and Restoratives: Emphasis on standing poses, balance poses, supported inversions and twists Transformational Work: Enhance positive energy flow with asanas and partner work
