Zoom On! Sun Salutation
The practice of vinyasa flow (sun salutation) and the standing poses is foundational to the art and practice of yoga. The vinyasa flow of body movements combined with breathing (ujjayi breath) warms up the muscles, tendons, and ligaments generating a detoxifying sweat.
The series of the foundational postures, stretch and strengthen muscles of the lower and upper core, opening the hips, pelvis, heart, and lungs. As a result daily living activities feel comfortable and easy.
If you have a heated space to practice in, this will enhance the effects of the vinyasa flow.
