Develop Lower Core Strength: Feel Radiant, Invigorated, Light & Free

Lower core strength makes everyday movement easier because when the abs and lower back are strong and stable, sitting, standing, and walking becomes more effortless. 

Yoga poses that develop lower core strength specifically target the abdominal muscles, psoas, and glutes (buttock muscles) – which are strong stabilizer muscles of the core/torso. Stabilizing core muscles keep your spine and body upright, which helps you move comfortably and efficiently.

  • Reduce stiffness and pain in the hips and lower back

Pranayama: Belly Breath 

Asanas: Tree Pose, Half Moon, Warrior III,  Side Plank, Knee to Nose Dog Pose, One Legged Bridge Lift, & Boat Pose. Twists balance and activate and balance core muscles. 

Restoratives: Leg up the Wall, or Setu Bandha Sarvangasana, or Savasana

Healing Injury? For those who have a history of injury or trauma and notice that the effects of the minor/major injuries are beginning to interfere with your everyday lives, please note that all of the yoga classes are naturally healing.

Each yoga class is designed to help release stored pain, anxiety, stress, or tension you may be experiencing so that vital, healing energy – prana – can move freely through the entire body. When vital energy is flowing freely (not obstructed), you experience positive emotions, revitalized energy, mental clarity, lightness, pain relief, and an overall sense of well-being.

Whether you have attended any of my yoga classes in the past or not, you are welcome to attend any or all of these classes.

Two firm bolsters or two firm blankets, if you have
