November 16 -17, 2024 – Ferndale Weekend Yoga Workshop w/ Kari

Join Us for a Weekend of Growth, Fun & Deep Relaxation!  Bring your yoga mat, blocks, yoga belts, blankets and sandbags—and get ready to breathe, move, and relax!

When: November 16-17, 2024
Days:  Saturday & Sunday 
Pre-Registration by November 7, 2024: Pay online below, Venmo @Kari-Tomashik-1 , or by mail.  Email or text Kari if you plan to attend and how many sessions. 

Cost: $50.00 each session. When you sign up for all 4 sessions the price is $175.00.  

Location:  In-Person at The Center for Physical Arts, 247 West Nine Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220

Parking: Parking available in parking structure across the street. Feel free to drop off yoga props at The Center for Physical Arts back door then park.

Mountain: Stand Tall & Feel Grounded

Description:
Experience the essence of standing grounded, like a mountain—strong, steady, and balanced. This session teaches the art of standing with both power and grace, awakening a deep sense of rootedness and stability.

Release built-up tension and discomfort from the head, neck, and shoulders. This healing session uses pranayama, standing poses, gentle inversions, and restorative postures to help ease stiffness and improve upper body mobility. You’ll feel lighter and more open by the end of the practice.

In this session, you’ll learn how twists and domes are powerful antidotes to a sedentary lifestyle, promoting flexibility and circulation.

Healing Injury? For those who have a history of injury or trauma and notice that the effects of the minor/major injuries are beginning to interfere with your everyday lives, please note that all of the yoga classes are naturally healing.

Each yoga class is designed to help release stored pain, anxiety, stress, or tension you may be experiencing so that vital, healing energy – prana – can move freely through the entire body. When vital energy is flowing freely (not obstructed), you experience positive emotions, revitalized energy, mental clarity, lightness, pain relief, and an overall sense of well-being.

Whether you have attended any of my yoga classes or workshops in the past or not, you are welcome to attend any or all of these classes.
